I ask You, Father
For the hand of Your daughter
I seek her as my mate to create
A bond that will never falter
To form a love to never be put asunder
And provoke awe and wonder
When they ask, “Who could have done this?”
“How can I experience such bliss?”
My reply will lead them to Your throne
For this love couldn’t be established alone
And only Your guiding hand
Can lead the heart of a woman to a man
