How time flies by
Goodbye, last year
I’ve lost and gained
I’ve felt joy and pain
There’s been sunshine and rain
Now, I choose to grow
I expose my heart and soul
No one else can see
What You know so intimately
I plead with You
Give me what I need
Here’s all of me
Make me what You want me to be
I want to make You proud
Remove every shroud
Any evidence of independence
Help me when I’m weak
To move only when You speak
I seek to do Your will
The road won’t be easy
You’ll be there carry the load
Whenever it’s heavy to bear
I’ll take the dare
Today, I declare
Something’s good is coming
Nothing’s going to stop me
I want what You’ve got for me
No fear this year
I’m ready to soar
Through Your open doors
Take this heart of mine
Lord, lead me one day at a time
