Sights and Sounds: Falling for Autumn

As summer’s heat leaves
I welcome autumn’s breeze
I gaze upon the trees
I hear the rustling of the leaves
I amazed by their shades
Their colors caressing each other

The sights and sounds
Surround and envelop me
I’ve got a spring in my step
Moments that feel awesome
I can’t help falling for autumn

I’m carried away by its splendor
The sheer beauty of creation
I’m overwhelmed by the sensation
It reminds me and I remember

Heavenly Father, You’re its Author
You’ve written this new season
With praise, I raise my hands to the sky
It’s so wonderful to be alive

Everywhere I go and everything I see
They’re testaments to Your existence
There’s nowhere else I’d rather be
Than right here for a time like this
